This artwork was created during the time of the pandemic isolation and having my kids home from school. Spending more time with the kids, playing, learning, observing and just enjoying company, I felt as though I was seeing the word through their eyes and following their pathways during a time of uncertainty. It was as if I was given permission to step back into my childhood, remembering little details of the things I would play and the pathways I followed. Although the horizon of this pandemic was and still is unknown, I hold this time dearly and made the most of being with my kids, as a big kid myself.
