This artwork is a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander past, present and future women and their endeavours, contributions and achievements. This piece highlights the nurturing, caring, leading, supporting, inspiring and empowering qualities of our women and acknowledges those non-Indigenous women who have and continue to advocate for our people. This one on particular is dedicated to my daughter, passing on strength, knowledge and power to her in her journey.
